Taiwan island found a new type of A/H1N1 flu virus that resists to the vaccine.

Taiwan health authorities say Taiwan found nearly 300 new flu virus, but this is the only case that has been drug resistant. Authorities say the patient took the anti-flu drug after he contracted the A/H1N1 influenza. The drug killed the non-drug-resistant virus, while the resistant virus spread rapidly.

Local health authorities say if such a drug-resistant virus occurs again, they will try other anti-flu drugs to combat the new virus. Anyway, the 20-year-old patient has recovered from the flu when abandoning the vaccine.
