Beijing set for National Day rehearsal

The Organizing Committee of the National Day Celebration in Beijing has scheduled a rehearsal for this Saturday evening.

The drill will run from midnight on Saturday to 3am Sunday. Roads near Tiananmen Square will be temporarily closed. Beijing Subway's Line One, will suspend service from 6pm Saturday evening until the rehearsal is finished.

Meanwhile, trains on Line Two will have to bypass certain certain stations. Parks, museums and shopping malls within the rehearsal vicinity will also close.
