Russian rocket launched to ISS

A Russian rocket has blasted off from Kazakhstan's Baikonur cosmo-drome, carrying a NASA astronaut and two Russian cosmonauts to the International Space Station.

The Soyuz craft is carrying Expedition 24, which includes American Tracy Caldwell Dyson and Russians Alexander Skvortsov and Mikhail Kornienko.

They will work with the crew at the International Space Station until September. The craft entered orbit about ten minutes into the flight, and is scheduled to dock on Sunday.
