China hits back at US over human rights

China has rebuffed criticism made in a US report of its human rights record by publishing its own report on the US's human rights record. China's report comes after the US State Department's report was released Thursday.

China criticizes the US for using human rights as a political instrument to interfere with other countries' internal affairs, defame other nations' image and seek its own strategic interests. China also advises the US government to improve its own human rights conditions and rectify its own abuses in the human rights field.
