A suicide car bomber has killed at least seven people in an attack targeting Pakistan's spy agency in the northwestern city of Peshawar. The early-morning blast destroyed much of the three-story building belonging to the Inter-Services Intelligence agency.
The agency is responsible for organizing part of the anti-terror campaign in Pakistan's border regions with Afghanistan. A police officer confirmed seven people had been killed and 35 have been hospitalized.
It was the latest in a string of bloody attacks since the government launched an offensive in mid-October against a main Taliban stronghold in South Waziristan.
