APEC ministers meeting opens, focusing on post-crisis trade

The 21st APEC Ministerial Meeting has opened in Singapore at the Suntec Convention Center.

The focus of the meeting will include: addressing the global financial crisis, structural reform, support for a multilateral trading system, accelerating regional economic integration and the future development of APEC.

Foreign and Trade Ministers and representatives of the APEC member economies, are attending the two-day meeting, to make final preparations for the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting slated for this weekend.Related stories
