Britain: Iran could be treated normally if proving free of nuclear weapons

And British Foreign Secretary David Miliband says Iran could be treated as a "normal country" if it wins the confidence of the international community by proving it is not developing nuclear weapons.

British Foreign Secretary David Miliband said, "The Iranian government can be treated as a normal country on nuclear matters if it behaves like a normal country. It can have normal rights to a civilian nuclear power programme if it wins the confidence of the international community - Russia as well as Britain - that it does not have a secret nuclear weapons programme. And so it's a very simple choice, and it's not actually a choice for us. It's a choice for the Iranian government."
