Hong Kong has held a "Red Rock concert" to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the People's Republic of China.

Singers from the mainland and the Special Administrative Region performed a number of patriotic songs in a rock and roll style. The concert aims to promote cultural exchanges between the mainland and Hong Kong and introduce "red rock" to the region. The concert attracted crowds of Hong Kong residents and tourists on Saturday. It was organized by the Hong Kong Democratic Alliance for Betterment and Progress.
