Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari has ended his fourth visit to China since taking office last September. The president says his frequent visits are to learn about China's development experience.

During his five-day visit to Zhejiang and Guangdong, the Pakistani president said he was impressed by their advanced technology and agriculture. He said he was learning from the two provinces' economic development. He believes cooperation between the two countries will reach a new peak.

The Pakistani government has signed eight cooperation agreements with the two provinces, covering agriculture, investment, telecommunications and health care.

Luo Zhaohui, Chinese ambassador to Pakistan, said, "China and Pakistan have great potential to cooperate in various fields, such as agriculture, infrastructure, fisheries and the IT industry."

Economic development is one of Zardari's major tasks during his five-year term. He sees China as one of Pakistan's most important partners. Last year's trade between the two countries reached seven billion US dollars. 120 Chinese companies are investing in Pakistan. The Pakistani president believes his country will benefit more from a deeper partnership with China.
