Oil leak problem unmentioned in Toyota cars

More than 8 million cars have been pulled back from around the world. But one problem that has not been mentioned is an oil leak problem that affected 1.6 million cars.

A spokesman for the Japanese carmaker says Toyota voluntarily repaired these vehicles in the last five months but didn't issue a notice for recall. He also explained that this was not considered a problem large enough to require such a notice because it was not a safety problem since alarm lights in cars go off automatically to remind drivers of oil leaks.
