Rio Tinto names new head of China operations

Rio Tinto has named Ian Bauret to head its business operations in China.

The company's CEO believes Bauret's experience and leadership will provide a sharper strategic direction, while improving relations in the company's largest market, after the arrest of an executive from its Shanghai office last year.
