China fights online porn

China is intensifying its fight against Internet pornography, accessible on mobile phones.

The first phase of the campaign has finished, with departments and individuals that contributed to the campaign being rewarded. The government has vowed tougher measures to crackdown on online pornography, requiring related mobile phone companies to regulate access to Internet.

Li Yizhong, minister of Ministry of Industry and I.T., said, "Mobile phone companies choose qualified business partners and regulate their actions. If there are serious problems, mobile phone companies must cancel their cooperation."
