3rd phase of Expo tickets to go on sale

The third phase of ticket sales for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo will go on sale starting January 1st, and last for four months. During the period, 3 and 7 day admissions and discounted tickets for special groups, will go on offer.

According to the organizers, a 3-day ticket will cost 400 yuan and a 7-day ticket will go for 900 yuan. For regular tickets, the price-tag is 160 yuan. On holidays and other peak periods, they will fetch 200 yuan each. Discounted tickets will be available for senior citizens, disabled people, students, children and army personnel, 110 yuan over holidays and other peak periods, and 90 yuan for all other days. 11.8 million tickets have already been sold.
