Construction of the Hong Kong and Macao pavilions for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo is proceeding smoothly.

The two special administrative regions will not only have pavilions on the expo site, but will also have a presence in the expo's Urban Best Practice Area. They will also participate in the online version of world expo, as well as other road shows. Officials from both the two regions are confident as the opening date approaches.

Joshua Law, Hong Kong SAR said "The main structure of the Hong Kong pavilion is almost done. We have already started interior decoration. We will have it done in the first quarter of next year."

Fong Weihung, Macao SAR said "Construction is finished. We will start installing exhibits early next month."
