The Premier says the World Expo is significant to humanity. He says it's beyond religion, region, and race, and it's about innovation, it's about international communication. Wen Jiabao notes it's the first time the World Expo will be held in a developing country. He calls it China's opportunity, and an opportunity for the world.

The International Forum for the Shanghai World Expo has been held annually since 2003 at different venues around the world to promote the 2010 event.

This year's forum is the final one. Its three main subjects are sustainable urban civilization, diversified urban culture and developing world expo concepts.
