Leaders agreed to undertake a coordinated action to tackle the ongoing global financial crisis and explore measures to prevent a similar crisis in the future.

They also agreed to an action plan of immediate and medium-term measures to cope with the global financial crisis.

3. April 1-2, 2009, London

Leaders reached the following agreements:

· restore confidence, growth, and jobs;

· repair the financial system to restore lending;

· strengthen financial regulation to rebuild trust;

4. April 1-2, 2009, London

· fund and reform the international financial institutions to overcome this crisis and prevent future ones;

· promote global trade and investment and reject protectionism, to underpin prosperity; and

· build an inclusive, green, and sustainable recovery.
