Securities agencies are training investors to familiarize them with the new GEM board. This securities company in Shanghai is holding a training class on the GEM Board. Investors can ask about the process of opening an account and investing details. They also talk with analysts to learn more about the Board.

Some investors believe this long-awaited second board could bring big opportunities.

"I will buy stocks in the GEM Board as soon as it's available. I believe it's an opportunity to earn money."

The agency says it's been receiving more than 100 account applications a day since it began offering this service in August. Insiders warn investors that risks may increase in the early period after the GEM Board is launched.

Xu Minfeng, agent of Huatai Securities, said, "If investors swarm to enter this market blindly, the stocks there will be overvalued. Then the GEM Board will lose its attraction and risks will balloon."

Many securities firms are trying to warn investors of the potential risks. Some agencies have conducted comprehensive evaluations about the age, assets and family revenue of investors. They will advise weak applicants to delay to opening accounts.
