Celestine Karoney

Celestine Karoney is a Sports reporter with CCTV Africa. She joined CCTV Africa in December 2011 after working for Kenya television network (KTN) a local Kenyan TV station for five years.

Celestine developed a passion for journalism while at University in Kenya´s North Rift region and her opportunity came during the final year of study in 2006 where she made her entry into the industry as a trainee reporter. Celestine who describes herself as passionate in what she does, has traversed Kenya, Africa and the world in search of sports stories.
