As the country was moving from 30years of Mubarak´s leadership to true democracy, Adel was the closest to the events. He brought CCTV´s camera like no reporter has done, standing in the middle of clashes to give our audience the most truthful images available.

With his passion for news coverage, Adel was the first on scene at various events including the Police Academy where Mubarak´s trial was held. CCTV´s coverage in Cairo for the past 14 months was so unique - we shared our coverage with the entire world, events in Egypt that no other channel or wire-services provided.
