Chinese President Xi Jinping attended the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2018 in south China's Hainan Province and delivered a keynote address at the opening ceremony on April 10. Xi summarized the valuable experiences and inspirations of China's reform and opening-up in the past four decades. He emphasized that China remains committed to further opening-up and deepening the reform and unveiled a set of major new measures for doing so. His speech won high appreciation from the attendees at the forum and was received wide recognition in the international community.

China's opening wider to the outside world is expected to start a new journey in the new era. Xi announced in his speech that China will significantly broaden market access, create a more attractive investment environment, strengthen protection of intellectual property rights, and take the initiative to expand imports, which charts course for the nation's f further opening-up, and highlights Beijng's resolve, sincerity and confidence.

"China's door of opening-up will not be closed and will open even wider," Xi declared, "China has every intention to translate all the major initiatives of opening up into reality, sooner rather than later."

Xi delivered a strong voice of China's expanding opening up to the world in Boao, sent out a clear signal that China is willing to work together and share development opportunities with the world, demonstrating China's firm determination to launch the new round of reform and opening-up.
