China is convening its annual Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and National People's Congress (NPC) meetings, known as the "Two Sessions."

It is reported that more than 3,000 reporters, including some 1,000 from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and foreign nations, are covering this year's "Two Sessions." Why does a domestic meeting of China matter so much in our world today?

We have Tom McGregor, CCTV.com's commentator sharing his observations in this video episode.
