The traditional manufacturing process of Gambiered Guangdong silk needs dioscorea cirrhosa, the juice of dioscorea tuberosum, a unique plant, where the fabric should be dip-dyed and dried serveral times before attached to a layer of yellow brown jelly. As a costly silk products, Gambiered Guangdong silk is regarded as the best of China's silk goods.
