On July 3, Chinese President Xi Jinping left Beijing for state visits to Russia and Germany. He will attend the 12th G20 Summit held in Hamburg.

This is a major diplomatic action of China, ahead of the 19th National Congress of the Communisty Party of China to be held the second half this year, to forge stronger ties with Russia, Germany, as well as Europe as a whole, and even in the multilateral arena of G20, so it is likely to attract worldwide attention.

Russia and Germany are the world's major powers, and are the cooperative partners of China, and prominent participants of "Belt and Road" Initiative. President Xi will jointly plan with the leaders of the two countries about objectives of China-Russia, China-Germany relations under the new situation.

He seeks to expand pragmatic cooperation in various fields, promote the docking of development strategies, and lead comprehensive China-Russia and China-Germany strategic partnerships at a new starting point to achieve greater development.

The G20 Hamburg Summit is a reunion of leaders of the world's most important 20 economies after the Hangzhou Summit, which was held last year.

Themed with "Shaping the Interactive World", the Hamburg Summit will carry on the consensus from Hangzhou, so that the "voice of China" will again sing high at the G20 Summit.

The Summit will boost relations among big powers, deepen China-Europe cooperation, promote international economic cooperation and improve global economic governance.

We are looking forward to the highlights of Xi's Europe visit, which will inject a positive energy of peace, stability and development to the world, which has seen increasing uncertainty.
