On the first day of 2017, the China Railway Express sent out its first London-destined train, marking the eighth line from China to European countries. On April 29th the first returning train arrives at Yiwu city in east China's Zhejiang province.

Having rolled along for 19 days, over 12,000 kilometers through 9 countries, the first China Railway Express returns to Yiwu, after its maiden voyage to London on January 1st.

The CRE train, coded X8053, carries 32 40-feet containers packed with European goods including maternal supplies, wines and beverages, and vitamin pills.

The Yiwu to London CRE was the first line that resulted from cooperation between Yiwu Tianmeng Investment company and China Railway Container Transportation company.

The boarded goods on the London-Yiwu CRE are valued at over 25 million yuan, and will be reaching local markets within 5 to 7 days.
