The combat-capable, two-seat trainer variant of the JF-17 aircraft, developed jointly by China and Pakistan, has made its debut flight in Southwest China. The two countries have been working on developing a fighter jet since the 1990s and it's a striking example of the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Short for "Joint Fighter-17", the lightweight, single-engine, multi-role, combat aircraft can be used for aerial reconnaissance, ground attacks and aircraft interceptions.
