BEIJING, April 25 (Xinhua) -- A meeting of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party China (CPC) Central Committee said that the Party's inspection work has been greatly invigorated since the 18th CPC National Congress in late 2012.

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, presided over the meeting on Tuesday.

According to the meeting, inspection has been strengthened and innovated, and intra-Party supervision has been integrated with the supervision by the public, giving new vitality to the inspection system.

It said the inspection of CPC organizations in central judicial and law enforcement organs has promoted the Party leadership, Party building and the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party within such agencies.

The meeting noted the importance of political and legal work and of judicial and law enforcement agencies and personnel.

It called on agencies and staff to uphold the authority of the CPC Central Committee with comrade Xi Jinping as the core and adhere to its centralized and unified leadership.

It said such agencies and staff should always be faithful to the Party, the country, the people and the law.

The meeting called for efforts to implement the strategy to comprehensively advance the rule of law and to integrate the CPC leadership into the full process of the rule of law.

The meeting said the construction in the ideological and political field should come first in the Party building in judicial and law enforcement organs to ensure that workers have clear political beliefs, high professionalism, commitment and discipline.

The Party's political code of conduct and rules should be strictly observed and the anti-corruption work should be deepened, it said.

The meeting further required efforts to boost public trust in judicial agencies, safeguard social fairness and justice and deepen reform within the judicial system.
