In Shanghai, a pair of new-born giant panda twins have been named after some five million people submitted their votes in a campaign.
The male has been given the name Yue Yue, while his sister shall be called Ban Ban. The name Yue Yue means "a bright future" and he weighs just over 14 and a half kilograms, while Ban Ban -- which means being a good twin -- is a little lighter, at 13.8 kilograms.
After receiving their names, they were paraded at Shanghai Wildlife Park, where they had no shortage of visitors wishing them well.
