The market of global luxury cars is huge, and in China, those contributing to it are getting younger and younger. The average age of luxury car buyers in China is 33 years old -- ten years younger than the average American luxury car buyers.
Most of these Chinese buyers are private entrepreneurs, freelancers, senior executives of major corporations and high paying white-collared workers.
China is also seeing a trend of taking out car loans to afford these luxury automobiles. Over 30 percent of luxury car buyers took out a loan in 2015, a 20 percent jump compared to 2011. It is predicted that this will surpass to 45 percent in 2018.
