Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has met with European Union foreign affairs chief Federica Mogherini in Beijing.

Following Tuesday's meeting with the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Premier Li said China and the bloc need to work together to push for economic globalization and free trade. He said China supports Europe's integration, and its unity and prosperity.
Mogherini said the EU is willing to strengthen cooperation with China and deal with differences properly.
