French protesters have staged a demonstration against National Front leader Marine Le Pen, candidate in this month's presidential election.
Sunday's protest started in north-east suburb of Aubervilliers, and then moved into Paris where the clashes erupted. The protest came just one day ahead of a Le Pen rally due to be held at the Zenith Arena in north-western Paris.
Next Sunday, the French will go to the polls in the most unpredictable vote in the country's post-war history. Opinion polls show one in three voters are still undecided.
