The passenger who was dragged wrecklessly from a United Airlines flight last Sunday is seeking legal action against the carrier.
Dr. David Dao's lawyers filed an emergency request with an Illinois state court on Wednesday which requires the carrier to preserve video recordings and other evidence related to Dao's rough treatment.
It's expected that the public outcry will push the airline to a quick and generous settlement. Dao hired two lawyers to represent him, one specialized in personal harm cases, the other in aviation law suits. Meanwhile, Chicago's Aviation Department said that two more officers have been placed on leave in connection with the incident. One other officer has been on forced leave since Tuesday.
