China's top nuclear envoy Wu Dawei is in Seoul this week for talks with South Korea.
China and South Korea have agreed to slap tougher sanctions on the DPRK, if Pyongyang carries out a nuclear or long-range missile test. Wu also repeated China's opposition to the deployment of a THAAD anti-missile system in South Korea.
Wu is meeting with his South Korean counterpart... as well as the country's leading presidential contenders and their aides... over his stay that's expected to last until Friday.
