Two giant pandas will head to the Netherlands from southwest China's Sichuan Province this afternoon. Their destination is the Ouwehands Zoo in Rhenen, in the center of the country.
As part of a nature conservation project, male panda Xing Ya and female Wu Wen are expected to stay for 15 years. The zoological partnership was agreed during the state visit of the Dutch Royal Couple in October 2015, with President Xi Jinping. The panda pair will land on Dutch soil on Wednesday.
