Finally home, after finishing one month in quaratine, the giant panda Baobao got to move into her new home at the Dujiangyan base of the China Conservation and Research Center, in Sichuan Province, on Friday.
Born in Washington DC in 2013, Baobao traveled to China in February. Now, here's a glimpse of her new home, a separate housing area and a playground, which she will share with her brother 'Taishan".
Thanks to the good care of her keepers, Baobao is in good health, gaining weight from 92 kilograms to 94 kilograms. And she also is adapting to a new diet in Sichuan, eating bamboo, apples, carrots, and a little bit of Chinese food.
