Full coverage: 2017 Boao Forum

The Boao Forum for Asia annual conference opens today in China's southernmost province, Hainan. This morning saw the launch of three reports. The Development of Emerging Economies Annual Report views the 11 major emerging market economies, or E11, as a whole.

The Asian Competitiveness report shows that major Asian economies remained stable in terms of their comprehensive competitiveness ranking this year. 

As for Asia economic integration, the report calls for the region’s partners to enhance the sense of community and abandon the Beggar-Thy-Neighbor approach in face of challenge in integration.
