In today's episode, the CCTV.com Panview team feature's an interview with the Swiss Ambassador to China Jean-Jacques de Dardel. He talks about how China and Switzerland have forged ahead on an "innovative strategic partnership," while strong bilateral ties have been ongoing for a number of decades.

For generations, Switzerland has enjoyed global status as a "powerhouse for innovation" said the Swiss envoy. He sees that China hopes to follow a similar path. His country sets a good example for supporting "sustainable development patterns".

The Swiss ambassador believes even brighter days are ahead, since his nation embraces globalism ideals, welcomes free trade borders and seeks more inclusiveness in the world. Switzerland hopes to play a key role in helping Beijing gain a stronger foothold in globalist governance mechanisms.

Jean-Jacques de Dardel encourages Beijing to favor more people-to-people meetings between the Swiss and Chinese, "expand dialogue" and to enhance the "innovation platform."
