In today’s episode, the CCTV.com Panview team features an interview with the Belgium Ambassador to China Michel Malherbe. He talks about how China and Belgium bilateral relations have experienced bonds of “growing trust” in recent years.

Brussels is not only the capital city of the nation of Belgium but the center of the European Union. Brussels serves as the cornerstone for Europe and brings vital connections for Beijing to spur better relations with the EU.

The Belgium ambassador believes even brighter days are ahead, since his nation holds a long and rich history of welcoming foreign companies to business in the small but influential country. Belgium is playing a key role to help China gain a stronger position in globalist governance mechanisms.

Ambassador Malherbe also highlighted how Belgium hopes Beijing can demonstrate more "reciprocity" and offer an improved business climate for European companies seeking to invest and trade in China.

He explains this and more.
