It serves as one of the most crucial meetings held in Beijing each year, while the Government announces the fiscal budget forecast and highlights major initiatives.
Media outlets from all over the world are live streaming the 'Two Sessions', which allows for a wider reach of a global audience and the younger generation of Chinese and global citizens may discover a deeper interest in Chinese politics and economics.
For this year, China's economic projections include: priority on tackling poverty in remote regions and creating more jobs in rural communities. Beijing would place a deeper emphasis on its internal socioeconomic issues.
The country's economic annual GDP growth rate is projected to achieve 6.5% in 2017, vowing to continue its economic structural reform, transform and upgrade its real economy, and further its opening-up to the outside world.
The diplomatic opportunities include strengthening the China-EU relations, inviting more countries to join the AIIB (The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank) that supports development in regions enroute China's Belt & Road Initiative, by acting as the finance mechanism to build infrastructure projects.
China's President Xi Jinping supports stability and prosperity for his country and the world. He's a strong yet flexible leader and open to seizing opportunities that benefit the nation. He's helping farmers adjust to China's rapid urbanization.
Meanwhile, he endorses strong environmental commitments to reduce carbon emissions and pollution. The international community is watching China to spearhead the globalist movement with sustainable development goals.
In other endeavors for China, Xi supports South-South Cooperation that strengthen trade and investment partnerships with the African continent and Latin America.
Furthermore the 'Two Sessions' have demonstrated consistency in China's government policy, which has attracted much more interest from the global community.
China holds a stronger international position that could spark better relations with the two Americas. We can expect to see more cross-border trade investments between the Americas and China.
There will be symbiotic investments that create new jobs in the Caribbean, while in other parts of the world. It's likely there will be more green energy projects tapped by Chinese investors.
Beijing will enhance its education to develop more STEM (Science, technology, engineering and math) graduates, while also upgrading geriatric care and do so much more.
The 'Two Sessions' has provided valuable insights into modern China's future and its economic journey that has embarked on the path of prosperity, innovations and strengthened Beijing's role in the global arena.
The key ingredients are strong leadership, patriotism and productive citizens to give China the edge to overcome challenges and exceed expectations.
