Full coverage: 2017 NPC & CPPCC Sessions

The 2nd Plenary Session of the 5th Session of the 12th National People’s Congress will be convened at 3:00 pm on Wednesday March 8th, 2017 at the Great Hall of the People(GHP).

The session will hear the report on the work of the NPC Standing Committee delivered by Chairman Zhang Dejiang of the NPC Standing Committee and the explanation note for the General Principles of the Civil Law of the People's Republic of China(Draft) delivered by Vice Chairman Li Jianguo of the NPC Standing Committee.

Adds the instructions of the draft decision on deputy number and election issues of the 13th National People's Congress, the draft of the approach for the elections of Hong Kong SAR deputies for the 13th National People's Congress, and the draft of the approach for the elections of Macao SAR deputies for the 13th National People's Congress by Vice Chairman Wang Chen of the NPC Standing Committee.
