The international fraud case was cracked down upon jointly by Spain and China last December.

Over 200 suspects in the ring were said to be from Taiwan.

Under treaties of deportation and mutual legal assistance signed between the two sides, Spain will repatriate the suspects to the Chinese mainland after finishing legal procedures.

Earlier reports say that most victims came from the Chinese mainland, mostly with relatively low incomes.

The case is said to have involved 16 million euros, or close to 17 million U.S. dollars.
