Things are about to get a whole lot brighter and prettier here in China with the lantern festival just around the corner. The festival falls on Saturday, the first full-moon of the Chinese Lunar Year. People across the country are celebrating the occasion with a range of activities.
First up, we'll look at two towns across the Taiwan strait that have been co-organizing lantern fairs for the past 16 years. Call it, "Lantern diplomacy".
