BEIJING, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping and his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump on Friday agreed to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in trade and economy, investment as well as international affairs.

During their first phone call since Trump's inauguration, the two leaders also agreed to keep close contact with each other, and to exchange views in a timely manner on issues of common concern.
