Millions of Chinese are cramming into trains, planes and buses as they head for the destination called home. In some places in Guangdong province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, many migrant workers are making the trip by motorcycle. The journey is filled with smiles and cheers as well as tiredness and tears.

What's been your hope all year?
Make more money and go back home for Spring Festival.
What's the taste of home you miss the most?
The taste of home is sticky rice dumplings. The ones my mother makes.
The enthusiasm of these two sisters catches a lot of attention. They say they used to fight a lot.
"My younger sister used to be naughty. She didn't work with me. When she had no money, she'd call me frequently. And I wasn't happy," Tan Xiaoying said.
"I know she does everything for my own good. My parents are in poor health. I know it's time for me to behave. I'm satisfied with myself this year. I know to work hard now," Tan Yanru said.
Li Jiang, of the post-90s generation, has worked away from home for six years. He didn't go to university. He learnt skills on his own. And he co-founded an Internet company in Shenzhen.
"You can study on your own, if you want to. If you have a dream, you can persevere in doing it," Li said.
This year, Li Jiang and his migrant worker father are heading back to Sichuan together.
Their road trip will also involve some sight-seeing. And this year, Li Jiang has something new back home to look forward to.
"I want to see my little niece so much. She has a cute, round face," Li said.
They have different lives, different jobs, different departure places. But they have the same destination: home.
