Newly appointed judges to the Supreme People's Court of The People's Republic of China have taken the oath of office in Beijing. 46 judges attended their swearing-in ceremony where they affirmed that they would support and defend the Constitution of the People's Republic of China, and fulfill all legal duties.
Judges will rotate between four newly selected circuit courts in Nanjing, Zhengzhou, Xi'an and Chongqing. The jurisdiction has been expanded to 26 provinces and territories from the previous six.
