Delegates from the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council are in St. Petersburg, Russia, for the bloc's annual meeting.

Leaders of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia will review the first two years of the Eurasian Economic Union since it was launched in 2014. They will also outline development goals for the council's integration project.

The signing of a Treaty on the EAEU Customs Code will be the highlight of the summit that began on Monday.

The EAEU is mirroring the European Union in setting up a common market for free movement of goods, capital, services and people.
