Less subsidies for solar, wind projects

China is going to cut the guaranteed subsidised prices paid for electricity supplied by newly built large-scale power plants and onshore wind turbines. The cuts will take effect on January the 1st. The move will save 6 billion yuan in the state budget. The National Development and Reform Commission said the cuts were due to decreasing costs of production in the renewable energy industry.
