Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has met with his counterpart from Sao Tome and Principe in Beijing to sign a communique formerly resuming diplomatic relations between the two countries.

China, Sao Tome and Principe resume diplomatic ties

The central western African nation cut its so-called diplomatic ties with Taiwan on December 20th. China says it appreciates and welcomes Sao Tome and Principe's return to the right track of the one-China principle.
