A Turkish military source has said that at least 30 civilians have been killed by mines and hand-made explosives planted by Islamic State militants.

The civilians were attempting to escape from the city of al-Bab in the north of the country. Roads and streets in the city have been blockaded by the terrorist group.

ISIL has been threatening civilians in al-Bab and trying to force them to stay in the city.
