Chinese top securities regulator is urging asset management professionals and financial employees to follow ethical and moral standards and to not try to violate the law.
The China Securities Regulatory Commission said Friday that a number of professionals have violated their work ethics and have been prosecuted as a result.
The CSRC also said at its regular press briefing that recently it has carried out joint efforts with public security forces to crack down on insider trading. That comes as Chinese leaders have asked regulators to beef up risk aversion efforts in financial sectors.
