The third Chinese Acrobatics Art Festival has come to a close in the city of Luoyang in central China’s Henan province. A wide variety of gravity-defying acts wowed spectators in different venues.

During the five-day event, a total of 24 diverse shows were presented by 20 professional acrobatic troupes from across the country. While the first two editions of the festival were both held in Beijing, this year’s event makes the ancient city of Luoyang the host city, and there are also seven other sub-hosts including Shanghai, Tianjin and Dalian.

The performances are not only limited to official gymnasiums - organizers have also planned shows in factories and communities so as to entertain more people.
